If you’ve been watching the new hit reality series on E! entitled The Wanted Life. The show follows the boys of U.K. boyband The Wanted. Obviously there is a lot of partying, girls, shenanigans, and long nights so it’s not a shock that in post production some of the episodes had to be edited.
Member Nathan Sykes admits that the band decided to cut a number of “raunchy” scenes from the show.
In an recent interview, Sykes said: “I had to be a good boy because of my voice, I had to stop drinking so I did behave myself. So I was okay!”
He continued: “”There is a brilliant scene but I’m not sure if it’s been edited but there are quite a few scenes that people are in and we’ve just gone, ‘We can’t show that!’”
When asked if those edited scenes were sexual, Sykes replied: “Yep!”
The singer, who just recently returned to join the band after a nodule scare, did confess that the group was worried about signing onto a reality show. This was due to fears of how they would be perceived by audiences.
“You don’t want people to hate you and be like, ‘You’re that d**k off that reality show’. You’re always a bit nervous,” Sykes said.
The Wanted Life is on Sundays on E! Check your local listings.
