This is one happy X Factor UK family!
Longtime host Dermot O’ Leary shared a photo of The X Factor UK panel to his nearly 2,000,000 Twitter followers.
Sitting on this year’s panel is original judge Sharon Osbourne, who told the Sun that she cannot wait to “give Gary Barlow a big hug, sit next to the gorgeous Nicole, and of course throw water on dear Louis.
The Talk co-host left the show in 2007 after a massive feud with former judge Dannii Minogue, who in turn left the show after the 2010 season.
Head judge Gary Barlow, who will be entering his third year with the show, stated to The Guardian that Osbourne’s return restores “the balance between musicians and managers on the panel.”
Mrs. O is not the only original judge that will be back on the panel.
Longtime friend (and quite frequent sparring partner) Louis Walsh, who helped the show discover Leona Lewis, One Direction, Olly Murs and Little Mix, was ecstatic to have her back.
“Ten years on and I’m just as thrilled to be involved in the best show on TV and even more delighted to be re-united with original judge Sharon Osbourne.” Walsh said. “Let the fun and games commence!”
Meanwhile, last year’s winning mentor, Nicole Scherzinger rounds out the panel and is ready to get back to work.
“I am so excited to get back to the UK, my second home, and get stuck into X Factor 2013!” said Scherzinger.
The X Factor UK intimate judges’ auditions have already begun. They will continue to travel across England before the next round, where the competitors face the judges again but with a live audience.
