Last night’s NCAA Tournament continued with an impressive victory from the Dayton Flyers, who faced off against Stanford and advanced to the Elite Eight for the first time in three decades.
The star of last night’s game was undoubtedly Jordan Sibert, who managed to score 18 points and secure his team the victory after they dominated Stanford with an impressive score of 82-72. Other stars from the Flyers include Matt Kavanaugh (who scored 10 points), Devin Oliver (12 points) and Kendall Pollard (12 points).
Head coach of the Flyers, Archie Miller, said about his team: “From top to bottom, they just kept coming and coming and coming, the way they shared the ball, the way they moved the ball…that’s what they’ve been about all year, so it’s nice to see on the biggest stage, us be ourselves.”
On Saturday, the Flyers are set to face the intimidating Florida, who are coming off a resounding victory over UCLA.
