After the first group of promotional posters for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 found their way online back in the beginning of this month, Lionsgate did not waste time and unleashed the second one, shortly after the release of the film’s first teaser trailer.
The newly revealed ones depict the warriors that will stand by the side with the revolution leader, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), who are no other than Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Cressida (Natalie Dormer), Messalla (Evan Ross), Boggs (Mahershala Ali), Castor (West Chatham) and Pollux (Elden Henson).
The rebels all look completely hardcore and totally ready for action, paving the way for the great fight that they’re about to give in Panem; surely not the best day for The Capitol, is it? At least it certainly does not look like it.
The more previews revealed, the more excitement built for the fans and now that these rebel warriors are in place, the book-readers can have a better perspective of what the final result is set to look like.
The film is the third one of the series and serves as the first half of the two-part finale, while it is based on the final book of Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games trilogy, Mockingjay. It will start from where Catching Fire left us–Katniss’ escaping Quarter Quell and making District 13 her new home, right before she becomes the Mockingjay and leads the revolution.
