Being the bravest little kid ever, a 4 year old in Queensland decided he was sick of just watching the rugby match and joined in on it.
After a kickoff, the game starts and a man goes to run down the field when he notices the kid. He hands the ball off to the child and encourages him to run. The game quickly goes from full-on competition to making the dreams of this aspiring rugby enthusiast come true.
The men on the opposing team follow suit and playfully dart around the child, falling beside him while they fake a tackle. He runs down the entire field and just at the end, a player on the opposing team picks him up and carries him through the goal, effectively scoring against his own team. Then as one final amazing gesture, they have the kid kick the goal… which goes a bit astray, but still manages to find the target.
There is a great level of sportsmanship here and I’m sure this little boy will remember the moment he scored the goal for years to come.
