Thor and The Hulk will get a chance to duke it out once more for their team-up in Thor: Ragnarok, or, at least, that’s the teasing tidbit Mark Ruffalo divulged to the Daily Mail. Mark Ruffalo stated, “I don’t really know that much about it, but I think it’s going to be a buddy picture with Thor and Bruce Banner. I think they’ll probably fight. There’s no doubt, everyone wants us to fight at one point.” That we do indeed!
Thor: Ragnarok is the third film in Marvel’s Thor franchise, which centers on the Norse God of Thunder, Thor, but I’m sure you knew that already; Ragnarok will focus on a ‘distant planet’ that isn’t Earth or Asgard. The origins of said planet remain a secret, and fans are convinced it’ll incorporate the Planet Hulk storyline. Hulk was last seen attempting to separate himself from the Avengers, forgoing a life of romance with Natasha, aka The Black Widow. Thor: Ragnarok will pick up after The Dark World’s cliffhanger of an ending involving Loki and will be released in theaters November 3, 2017. Taika Waititi is set to direct the highly anticipated film.
