Tim Curry Makes Rare Public Appearance After Suffering Stroke

Legendary actor and star of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Tim Curry made a rare public appearance since suffering a massive stroke almost 3 years ago.

Hard to believe it’s been that long since it happened.

Nearly 3 years ago, ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ legend Tim Curry suffered a massive stroke at the age of 66, and this past Sunday (despite his current medical state), he made a rare appearance to accept a Lifetime Achievement award at the Tonys after party.

The now 69 year old spoke with an LA magazine, where he said he is “doing well”. The magazine did state that his speech has slowed, but he seemed to be in great spirits.

This was the first appearance for the actor since December of 2014, when he was photographed out on Christmas Eve for dinner.

Many of us know Tim from his groundbreaking performance as Dr. Frank N’ Furter from the cult classic ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’, but there have been many more memorable performances.

What about as Darkness in ‘Legend’? Or Wadsworth in ‘Clue’? Maybe your favorite was his hilarious turn in ‘Home Alone 2’ as the hotel manager or the terrifying Pennywise from ‘IT’?

PopWrapped continues to send positive vibes to Tim and hopes he’s doing alright.
