Tim McGraw Addresses Slapping Incident: “I Think You Just Got To Move On”

That’s all he has to say?

Nope–not quite.

After the incident at his Atlanta concert that resulted in him slapping a female fan in the face, Tim McGraw spoke with ET Canada.

McGraw reacted after the woman swiped her hand very close (or, as some say, coming in direct contact with) to his crotch. He said to ET:

“It happened in a split second, it was pure instinctive reaction, I think you just got to move on.”

He continued:

“Nobody feels good about it, but there’s nothing that could be done about it.”

Just as an ending to the whole scenario, cops in Atlanta informed TMZ that no charges will be filed, as they are siding with the country superstar in saying the slap was justified.

You’ll notice in the above GIF, the action is slowed down. Tim swiped her hand away (from his crotch) and THEN slapped her.
