The Tiny Titans, a popular kid-friendly comic, is being revived by DC Comics.
“Big news out of DC comics and @dandidio1 says so: can you say : Tiny Titans?” comic designer and co-creator of Tiny Titans, Franco Aureliani, tweeted Oct 12.
The monthly comics, by Franco Aureliani and Art Baltazar, star superheros and villains from the DC Universe as children set in Sidekick City Elementary school. Being the Tiny Titans series regularly features Robin, Raven, Starfire, Cyborg, and Beast Boy as their kid selves.
The Tiny Titans originally ran from April 2008 to May 2012. A date for the new release of the Tiny Titans has not been disclosed yet.
Aureliani and Baltazar have also launched their own Aw Yeah Comics! Label, as well as working on Itty Bitty Hellboy with Dark Horse Comics. They also announced a L’il Dynamite for Dynamite Entertainment at the New York Comic-con in 2013, and are even working on a L’il Battlestar Galactica.
