Minutes ago, TLC announced that they have officially cancelled 19 Kids and Counting.
Ever since the news broke of son Josh Duggar’s molestation confession, the network was under immense scrutiny to cut ties. Multiple sponsors of the show jumped ship when the scandal first broke months ago.
The network shelved the program for a whole two months, without making any concrete decisions until just now.
So far, no word from any of the cast, or Josh himself.
The network is still moving forward with planned documentaries focused on sisters Jill and Jessa. The special will focus on them being in the middle of the molestation scandal, seeing as they were named. The network has also teamed with a child protection organization in order to convey the message properly.
