Tom Daley’s list of records just keep getting longer. Along with his many medal’s that he has acquired through diving, not swimming, as he makes it clear in his twitter bio, he is now a record holder in canyon swinging.
As part of his new ITV2 series, Daley was strapped to a swing and hurled from the top of a 357 ft cliff. The aim for the Slash! star was to do as many somersaults as possible, while traveling down at lightning speed.
The previous record was held by a Swedish gymnast, but Tom managed to beat him by two somersaults. Speaking of his new record he said, “That was insane but I’m now a record holder. I find anything dangerous fun.”
Tom Daley Goes Global airs Thursday on ITV2 at 9pm.
