Tom Hanks Channels Walt Disney In New Saving Mr. Banks Poster

The first UK poster has been released for Disney’s upcoming biopic Saving Mr.Banks, starring Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson.

The poster shows Walt Disney (Hanks) and P.L. Travers (Thompson) walking together, while their silhouettes show their famous creations, Mickey Mouse and Mary Poppins

The film, directed by John Lee Hancock, will centre on Travers as she moves from London to Hollywood to work with Disney on his adaptation of her beloved novel. Kelly Marcel, who is also writing the Fifty Shades of Grey adaptation, wrote the script.

The film will also feature Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzman, Ruth Wilson and Colin Farrell, among the supporting cast.

The film will be released in the US and UK on Dec. 20^th.
