Tom Hiddleston narrates a new short film version of Shakespeare’s ‘Henry V’, intended for, and starring, 8 to 10-year-olds

British schools have enlisted one of Shakespeare’s coolest fans, Tom Hiddleston, to help introduce The Bard to young children in a fun and exciting new way.

Hiddleston, who played the lead role himself in the BBC’s Hollow Crown adaptation of Henry V,  narrates a new short film version of the classic play, intended for, and starring, 8 to 10-year-olds.

WillShake’s Henry V will focus on Henry’s journey from prince to king in a simplified 15 minute adaptation featuring live action and animation.

The film will debut in UK primary schools on March 17 as part of Britain’s Shakespeare Week celebrations.

Be part of the few, we happy few, we band of brothers, and find out more about the film at the Digital Theatre Plus website.
