Tom Hiddleston is once again showing us it’s “good to be bad” in a new commercial for Jaguar. The new spot, “Master Plan”, continues the saga of the British villains and their bid for world domination with the help of their sleek and powerful Jags. The focus this time is on Jaguar’s XE sports saloon model.
The storyline shows us that Hiddleston is the new head honcho of the organization, gloating in his new position of power by feeding Ben Kingsley’s bow-tie to his dangerous big pet kitty. Nicholas Hoult is also on hand as the sexiest geek you’ll ever see, playing the wiz kid designer of the autos’ high tech gear. Hiddleston commands Hoult to “unleash the cats”, and a fleet of the cars sets out to “go forth and rule the roads.”
The ad will make its UK television debut during this weekend’s Champions League Final, but it’s already available to view on the web at various sites.
Jaguar France had also posted a behind-the-scenes video of the making of the ad, but has unfortunately recently deleted the clip. Hopefully once the ad campaign makes its official launch the video will be back. The more Tom Hiddleston there is in the world, the happier we all are.
