Second Trailer For Doctor Strange Shows Fantastic Reality Bending Scenes

The latest trailer from Marvel’s upcoming ‘Doctor Strange’ movie showcases fantastic magic in a way fans have never before seen in film! Check it out here!

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has brought a lot of amazing visuals to our screens, and it looks like their next outing on Doctor Strange will be just as impressive…

From superheroes fighting and flying on air, to the magnificent towers of Asgard, to the severed gigantic head of a celestial being in far space, Marvel is a fan of doing things big. The movie series has brought us so many impressive scenes, that it seems as though they couldn’t possibly surprise us with something different.

But with the upcoming movie, Doctor Strange,  which will finally introduce the series to formal fantasy magic, Marvel has decided to take us in a whole new direction and show us reality bending on a massive scale!

Of course Thor’s saga contains elements of magic throughout, but at the end of the day producers opted to try to ground Thor’s world in a more science fiction direction.

In the new trailer of Doctor Strange we are given a taste of what the Sorcerer Supreme and his rivals and cohorts are fully capable of. It’s an impressive sight, and their magical gifts are fully realized.

It is really unlike anything we have seen in a comic book movie so far. It even trumps the sort of magic we often see in fantasy films. Whole cities are seen to be bending, and landscapes alter before our very eyes.

We also get a glimpse of the movie’s villain Kaecilius, played by Mads Mikkelsen, and Doctor Strange’s allies Karl Mordo, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor and Wong, played by Benedict Wong. If one is a fan of the comics, this will be a departure since in that incarnation Kaecilius is a sidekick to Mordo who is the rival of Doctor Strange. Wong was also meant to be more of a manservant to the Sorcerer Supreme but the trailer seems to show him as something more of an equal.

But of course this is just a preview, the story line may prove to be closer to the comics than we realize. And ultimately Mordo may end up as a villain? I guess we’ll have to wait and see when Doctor Strange opens in cinemas on November 4.
