Even if Sharknado 2: The Second One doesn’t capitalize on the whole dinosaur thing, it’s good to know that the next installment in the Transformers franchise will be!
We already knew that it would feature Dinobots, but now we have a title to go with that information. And may we say, it sounds very apropos. Transformers 4 will officially be called…
Age of Extinction!
Sounds kind of awesome, right? The last couple of installments in the Transformers franchise have fallen a bit flat; do you think this one could bring it back to its original glory?
According to Mark Wahlberg, who will star in the film, Age of Extinction will function as a “standalone movie,” reports Digital Spy.
The movie will also star the likes of Stanley Tucci, Titus Welliver, and Kelsey Grammer. It will, of course, be directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg.
In addition to the totally awesome title, we have been treated to the first teaser poster for the film that can be seen above!
Age of Extinction is set to invade theaters next summer.
