Well, what will Lifetime do now??
After it was made very public knowledge that Aaliyah’s family was NOT happy with Lifetime moving ahead with a biopic on the singer, many wondered exactly what would come of it.
Now we know.
Zendaya Coleman, who was cast to play Aaliyah, has officially dropped out of the production. While sources are saying there are many reasons, a key one was the family’s negative reaction to the made-for-TV movie.
Lifetime has only said production is now on hold.
