The first time we saw Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, he was guest starring in the comic book adaptation TV series, Arrow.
Since Gustin’s appearance of the show the CW has given the green light on The Flash TV series. Since then it has been established that both shows are set in the same universe, fans have been asking for a Flash/Arrow crossover event. Well looks like the TV gods have answered their prayers because executive producer Andrew Kreinsberg has confirmed that there will be such an event.
In speaking with TV Guide, Kreinsberg has revealed a few small details of the crossover episodes. “Episodes 8 of both shows, Arrow and The Flash, are going to be a two-hour crossover event,” he says. “(Also), in Episode 4, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is going to come to The Flash.”
So we’ll get two crossover episodes in the first season alone and one of them is a special two hour episode that will air in tandem with Arrow. Now that is great news!
The Flash is set to air it’s pilot episode on Oct 7th, while Arrow is set to return the following day on Oct 8th.
