Brad Pitt attended the premiere of Maleficent, starring his wife Angelina Jolie, and was met on the red carpet with an attack!
Ukrainian TV presenter Vitalii Sediuk reportedly jumped the barricade and punched the actor while he and Jolie signed autographs outside the theater.
Event security detained Sediuk until he could be picked up by LAPD. The Ukranian TV personality was later arrested and booked for suspicion of misdemeanor battery and is being held on a $20,000 bail. After the incident, Pitt (50) returned to the premiere festivities and a rep for Disney stated, “This was an unfortunate and inappropriate incident that is being investigated by the LAPD.”
Sediuk has a past with crossing boundaries, after groping Bradley Cooper, trying to kiss Will Smith, and crashing the Grammy Awards last year. Hopefully Sediuk will soon start to comprehend boundaries and give up his tactless ways.
