Ula Ruth Earn Residency With Communion In NYC

Brooklyn-based indie band Ula Ruth have earned a residency with Communion; catch them at Rockwood Music Hall on Nov. 3!

Brooklyn-based indie quartet Ula Ruth are looking forward to an exciting moment tomorrow night (Nov. 3)–they’ve landed a residency with Communion (Catfish and the Bottlemen, Tennis, and Rubblebucket).

Having been compared to legendary rockers The Killers, their sound is sure to make waves at NYC’s Rockwood Music Hall.

So, how does the band feel about their upcoming show?

“Playing Communion residency is the next big milestone for us. It’s insane to think that so many of the bands we love got their big break from playing Communion, and now we’ll be playing the same stage they played right before their lives changed forever. As we prepare to release our next musical effort, FEVER, I think it goes without saying that we could not have imagined a better way to announce it to the world. We’re ecstatic and truly humbled to say the least.”

Fever will be the band’s third project, due early next year.

Check out one of my favorites, “Water on Cigarettes,” below, and be sure to stop by Rockwood Music Hall in downtown Manhattan tomorrow night!
