Temple Run, the popular online game, has decided to up the ante a little bit.
In a game where survival is based solely upon your avatar’s ability to run and hurdle obstacles, the developers added the option to download Usain Bolt as an available character for the low price of $0.99.
The “fastest person ever” will be available for download for only a limited time, and is selling rapidly.
Bolt’s character will be armed with a special electric shield, which will allow him to attract coins, enable auto guidance, and will grant him invincibility.
Temple Run 2 debuted exclusively on iOS devices and reached 20 million downloads in a mere four days. It continued its victorious journey by reaching 50 million downloads from Apple and Android devices in just 13 days; a record breaking feat.
Its predecessor, Temple Run, reached 2.5 million downloads on Christmas Day before hitting 100 million downloads in less than a year from the date of release.
