The first official still from the Veronica Mars movie has been released exclusively to EW.com. Production began earlier this month on the movie, which will be based upon the beloved and quirky show.
This is the first behind-the-scenes picture of Kristin Bell on set in Los Angeles.
Kickstarter is responsible for getting this project up and running due mainly to the creator Rob Thomas, the Mars cast, and the $5.7 million dollars that fans raised to contribute to the film’s funding. The show, which ended in 2007 after airing on the CW, had a great cast, and they will reunite for the film. Bell, Jason Dohring, Chris Lowell, Ken Marino, Percy Daggs III, and Enrico Colantoni.
