Video games and video game characters have always had a special place in the heart of genre artists, and True Gaming Gods on Facebook has recently posted several pieces that reinterpret some very popular games such as The Witcher, Mario Bros. and Zelda.

Most of these pieces are done in either a noir style or a 50’s sci-fi style, very reminiscent of the artwork for Forbidden Planet and Invaders From Mars.  Check out the gallery below:
