Jane Lynch, penguins and the Discovery Channel… sounds like the perfect combination and we’re going to get it later next month.
Glee’s Jane Lynch is set to narrate a documentary about penguins for the Discovery Channel.
Penguins: Waddle All the Way is a two-hour special event that is “dedicated to exploring the colorful secrets behind the elusive world of penguins”. Directed by John Downer (Elephants: Spy in the Herd, Tigers: Spy in the Jungle and Polar Bears: Spy on the Ice) has used more than fifty remote controlled cameras camouflaged as super-realistic penguins, chicks and even eggs to film the cold-loving animals in their natural environment.
Speaking on her involvement in the project, Lynch said she was “thrilled” to present the footage. “It’s hard to go wrong with a title like [Waddle All the Way]. And seriously, is there anything cuter than a penguin?”
Penguins: Waddle All the Way will screen on the Discovery Channel on November 23 at 9pm ET. You can catch Lynch in an all new Glee on November 7.
