Second star to the right, and straight on to 2015! Warner Brothers is teaming up with Joe Wright to bring you a new adaptation on the Disney classic!
We all know the story: Peter Pan gets separated from his shadow, and with the help of Wendy Darling, is reunited with it. He teaches her and her brothers how to fly and takes them off to Neverland. Fun and games ensue in the land of never growing up, spliced with run-ins with Captain Hook and his crew!
Joe Wright (Attonement) is set to direct Pan, which will be adapted from the novel by JM Barries. Jason Fuchs (Ice Age: Continental Drift) will take charge of the adaptation.
While the full storyline has yet to be released, sources report that we will see the return of Captain James Hook, with Javier Bardem joining the project as the pirate Blackbeard.
Disney and Sony are also working on Peter Pan or something similar of their own, to be released in the near future as well.
Pan is rumored to hit American cinemas June 26, 2015.
