The Wet Hot American Summer Trailer Gets A Little Raunchy

Check out the trailer for “Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp” and bask in the glory of Paul Rudd. It hits Netflix later this summer.

July is bringing the great weather and even better news, as the highly-anticipated prequel to Wet, Hot, American Summer—the cult classic starring Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper and the ever-adorable Paul Rudd—is finally happening.

And we have a trailer, y’all.

Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp sees our favourite camp counselors on their first day, and the trailer is like a who’s who of celebrity cameos.

And it’s also a little raunchy.

The 2-minute trailer finds all our favourites back at their first day of camp—funnily enough, 14 years later, but let’s suspend reality, shall we—with notable appearances from Jon Hamm, Bradley Cooper, Christopher Meloni, Jason Schwartzman, Elizabeth Banks, Kristen Wiig, and countless others.

And Paul Rudd’s entrance on a motorcycle makes it even better. Swit and or Swoo.

Can we seriously just take a moment of appreciation for Paul Rudd, folks?

The Camp counselors are beginning their first terms, and definitely not their last, and everyone tends to get a little frisky during the summer.

And yes: that is the voice of Archer as the Camp director.

Thank you, Netflix.
