FOX pulled out all the stops in their latest promo for their new fall line-up by asking the age old question: “What does the fox say?”
A spin on the viral video from artist Ylvis, this mash-up video features new footage from their shows including Glee, Family Guy, and The New Girl.
Actors Darren Criss and Jane Lynch of Glee make special appearances in the video, lip-syncing to the song in between cuts of each of the characters dancing to the insane lyrics.
Straight from Norway, Ylvis’ posted the song “The Fox” on to YouTube on September 3, and has accumulated well over 34 million views already. Like any music video, they dance and sing, but to the odd yet catchy hook “what does the fox say,” followed by sing-song sounds and noises that you wouldn’t think a fox would actually make.
Also making a special appearance in the video are Lamorne Morris (New Girl), Michael Ealy (Almost Human), Geoff Stults (Enlisted), and Tamara Taylor (Bones).
With the A-list cast and catchy song, FOX’s video has the potential to be just as viral as the original.
