TV Land’s hit Younger returned this week for its fourth season and we are so excited to have it back. Season three ended with quite a cliffhanger as we saw Liza (Sutton Foster) reveal her big secret to her closest friend Kelsey (Hilary Duff) and things did not look good for their future friendship. To make matters worse, Liza also had a very near hook up with her boss Charles (Peter Hermann) right when her young boyfriend Josh (Nico Tortorella) was about to propose. Multiple relationships in Liza’s life are shaky at best as we enter the show’s fourth season. Not all ended badly though, as Diana (Miriam Shor) found love and things for Maggie (Debi Mazar) weren’t too bad. Ok, so it looks like things might be heating up for Charles and Liza which we are so excited about. We have been rooting for that couple since day one. Do we like Josh? Of course, but Charles is the right man for Liza. He’s age appropriate and their lives work together, not to mention, his children adore her. So, we are very happy to see things getting steamy between them possibly in the future of the show. That being said, where does Josh fit on this show if he’s not with Liza? Does he disappear or does he find a new purpose. From the look of the trailer, things might be getting hot between Josh and Kelsey which we do not approve of. It looks like they will be consoling each other because of Liza as friends but things will go past the friend zone at some point. So, when we say we don’t approve, we don’t mean those two as a couple because honestly, Kelsey hasn’t had the best luck and Josh is a good guy. That being said, Liza is Kelsey’s best friend and if they’re already tense because of the big secret reveal, what is a romance with her ex going to add? We are imagining things are going to get very stressful for the fans of Younger this season.
The rest of the cast looks to be up to their normal business but the main four are going to be giving us a cardio workout. What do we want from Younger season four? We made it clear that we want Liza and Charles to finally hook up and be a real couple but we also want Liza and Kelsey to renew their friendship and if Liza is ok with Josh and Kelsey, then we are too.
