It’s official!!!! With their new ad campaign for the Windows 8 Tablet, Microsoft have arrived at 2006.

That’s right. If the new Microsoft ad seems awfully familiar to anyone in at least United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Japan, you wouldn’t be far wrong. In a possible aim to capture the fun, frivolity and youthfulness of Apple’s 2006-2009 “Get a Mac” campaign, Microsoft have launched a campaign illustrating the shortcomings of the iPad to their Tablet.

Check out the new ad below and then one of the classic “Get a Mac” ads and let us know whether you think the Microsoft one works or if they need to come up with something more original. Would this convince you to get a Tablet over an iPad?
