Well this is fairly unfortunate. Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia has confirmed that he will NOT be returning to the upcoming mini-series, Heroes Reborn. Ventimiglia made the announcement via twitter after a fan questioned his involvement tweeting:

This now makes two actors who previously held lead roles confirming that they will not be involved in the upcoming series (Hayden Panettiere shot down rumors in April). As of now, the only guaranteed returning cast member is HRG who appeared throughout the entire series, played by Jack Coleman.
Heroes Reborn is currently in the development period and more casting announcements will surface as filming prepares. Heroes Reborn doesn’t have a set release date but will air on NBC in 2015.
