Sir Michael Caine, known best for his roles in The Italian Job and Hannah and Her Sisters, has expressed interest in working with young starlet Jennifer Lawrence.

“I think she’s wonderful. I voted for her for the Oscar. I’d love to play her grandfather or something!” he laughed.

Caine has been nominated for an Oscar every decade since the 60’s. Currently, his latest film is Now You See Me, a story about magicians pulling off a heist, which he stars alongside Morgan Freeman, Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, and Mark Ruffalo.

The film opens tomorrow in the US and July 3^rd in the UK.
