Just mere days ago, Sinister director Scott Derrickson was confirmed to be taking the helm of the upcoming Marvel film Doctor Strange.

Deadline is now reporting that he has his eye on two actors to fill the lead role:

Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch and Dark Knight Rises Tom Hardy!

There were earlier reports that recent Best Supporting Actor winner Jared Leto was being called a front runner, but that seems to have waned.
