Big news for Ghostbusters fans in the UK! In celebration of the upcoming 30th anniversary of the movie, the original movie will screen in the UK for only one day, October 28th.
The edition of the 1984 film that will play is totally restored and remastered, ensuring excellent quality. In addition, the Blu-ray version of both the 30th Anniversary Edition of Ghostbusters and the 25th Anniversary Edition of Ghostbusters II will be released on September 1.
The Blu-rays will have conversations with co-creator Dan Aykroyd and director, Ivan Reitman. Fans will also get to see never-before-seen scenes from Ghostbusters II.
On top of that, Ghostbusters 3 is currently in the early stages of development and will bring original stars, Ernie Hudson and Aykroyd back to the set. Actress Sigourney Weaver, who was also in the original film, revealed that the actor who played her baby son in Ghostbusters II will also star in the upcoming film.
