SPOILER ALERT!
It’s about that time to sit down for your favorite show!!
I have my cold glass of beer and I’m sitting in my recliner. This has got to be a crazy show tonight. Here it is for the hometown dates.
First off, Juan Pablo first goes to Nikki’s home town, of Kansas City, MO. Nikki goes through the first half of the date wanting to tell JP that she is falling in love with him. Sadly, she is unable to because she didn’t feel like it was the right time. Total bummer, because I was ready for one of the “I Love You” scenes that The Bachelor has become all too famous for. Cue music and twinkling eyes!
Next date is with JP and Andi in Atlanta. Let’s just say that Andi has some wicked amazing aim with a 9mm. She has good aim with JP too! Bottom line is: do not get in the way of Andi, because she can definitely take you down.
Renee is “madly and crazy love with him”, but she hasn’t old Juan Pablo yet. I can understand completely why she hasn’t. Renee doesn’t want to get hurt. She has a son from a previous relationship. As a single mother myself, I can relate with her.
After a failed relationship, you are afraid of getting hurt again. You also want what is best for your kids at the same time, so you are even more cautious of any decisions you make. Renee is very brave to introduce her son to JP in this episode. That had me cringing at my teeth because what happens if Juan Pablo doesn’t pick her? That would have to be hard on her son in some way.
The final date goes to Clare, the hairstylist from Sacramento, CA. They take a nice and romantic walk around the lake, where she talks about her father who passed away. It all becomes weird when one of her sisters becomes a cause for extra stress.
Just like that, Renee had to go home. I was really rooting for her because I can only imagine what it would feel like for her to find someone that she loves just to be dumped.
