As Marvel fans ourselves, we will take any Avengers news we can get. In an interview with Michael Douglas, who plays Hank Pym in the Ant-Man movies, shared some news for the next Avengers film. Well, what we hope is news.
We’re sure the cats out of the bag now, about the end credit scene in Ant-Man and the Wasp, but just in case…this is your spoiler warning. Don’t go any further if you haven’t seen the latest Ant-Man movie yet.
So, as the movie ended, more happily then we’d expect, the MCU sucker punched us with their mid credit scene where Hope, Hank, and Janet disappeared into ashes like those at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. In one of the press videos for the sequel, Michael Douglas shared some information on Hank Pym’s future in the Marvel Universe. Douglas is coy with his answer about whether or not he’ll be back, but his eyes give us the hint that he will return. Will everyone? Well, none of us can know that.
In another interview, The Winter Soldier or White Wolf, himself, Sebastian Stan revealed Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Samuel L. Jackson are in a scene in an unspecified project, but what else could he be referring to? Not sure how Marvel will deal with his slip up but we are grateful for it, nonetheless.
The interview below is a lot of fun with some great conversation on topics like being funny on screen with Paul Rudd. Many thanks to JOE.ie for having such a wonderful chat with Douglas and getting us some hopeful hints at what’s to come.
