The actor told Zap2It:

“In this version, Vernon is April’s cameraman, so they work together as opposed to him being her adversary,” He’s a little reluctant when she starts talking about [how] she found these vigilantes and they’re turtles and all this stuff and he kind of looks at her like she’s crazy. Once the action gets going and she kind of gets in trouble, Vernon steps up and helps her and then he becomes part of it as well. He helps April help the Turtles.”

While he said there were some action sequences that were physically demanding, they were really fun to shoot. He added, “I’m not going to say I’m an action star, but it was fun being in it.”

Jeremy Howard , Pete Ploszek, Alan Ritchson , and Noel Fisher of Shameless will star alongside Arnett as the four Ninja Turtles. William Fichtner will star as the movies villain Shredder, and Megan Fox will star as April O’Neil.

The film produced by Michael Bay will hit theatres May 16, 2014 in the UK and June 6 in the US.
