Katy Perry’s new single recently shot to the number one spot in the UK and the artist is also being called a “genius” by Prism collaborator, Juicy J.
Juicy teamed up with Perry for the track entitled “Dark Horse” from her upcoming album, and according to the rapper, he had a pretty fantastic time working with the superstar.
“I just did something with Katy Perry, man. That song is amazing,” Juicy J told MTV. “She’s very professional, everything went smooth and she’s a great person. My verse I did on that song, she was singing it. She’s really a genius, she was by the mixing board and telling the guy what to take in and take out. She’s really hands-on with her music, she knows music.”
“Dark Horse” will drop on September 17 and as it was fan-voted as the next single to release, I’m sure the Perry camp is hoping for all those fans to make it as successful as “Roar” is proving to be.
