Willem Dafoe Gets Ready To Take On The Infamous Andy Warhol

Willem Dafoe, will be taking on a different role in Bertrand Bonello’s newest project; he will be the latest on a long list of actors to play Andy Warhol in the film, Saint Laurent.

In case you couldn’t deduce this from the name, the biopic will be set in France and focus on the late fashion designing powerhouse, Yves Saint Laurent, who passed in 2008.

Defoe is in great company as Crispin Glover, Bill Hader, Jared Harris, Guy Pearce, and David Bowie have all portrayed Warhol in the past.

Dafoe can also been seen in the upcoming films Out of the Furnace, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Fault in Our Stars, and Nymphomaniac. That last one certainly sounds…interesting.

Production on Saint Laurent has already begun and it is scheduled for release in May 2014.
