Most of the time, things can get ugly when couples separate and go through divorce proceedings. Former partners who were in love at one point usually end up fighting for property, spousal support and custody of the children.
But of course there are couples who would go their separate ways in an amicable fashion, and some would even celebrate said event.
Take for example Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose.
TMZ reports that the two were finally able to take the last hurdle in their divorce proceedings on June 6, when they filed their settlement in court.
Wiz Khalifa is said to have retained ownership of their house in Pennsylvania together with ten of their cars. Amber, on the other hand, gets $1 million as stated in their prenup, plus she will get additional child support for Sebastian, their son.
Things went so well that the former couple decided to go out and party. And where would a former husband and wife go to celebrate? Perhaps the site of their first date, a nice restaurant?
Well in their case, they decided to hit up a strip club (which may or may not hold an emotional significance to the ex-couple). They were reportedly very generous as well, and had a large stack of dollar bills to hand out to the dancers.
However things between the former twosome weren’t exactly peachy at the start. There were accusations of infidelity and, at one point, Wiz Khalifa tweeted that Amber Rose was a “foul creature”. For her part Amber Rose removed the tattoo of Wiz Khalifa’s face from her body.
Thank goodness the two eventually sorted out their differences.
Amber though, clarified that she and Wiz were not celebrating their divorce. But rather it was an appreciation for the love that the two still have for each other.
