While this is good news for Hugh, he explained to The Associated Press “I’m realistic about the future and it’s more than likely that I’ll have at least one more but probably many more, which is not uncommon for an Aussie particularly from English stock growing up in Australia where I don’t remember ever being told to put sunscreen on.”
Hugh went on to give a good word of advice and a little bit of a reminder, stating “But the beauty of this is it’s all preventable, it’s just about getting proper check-ups. I can be typical man, a little lazy, I couldn’t be bothered and now I’m not lazy at all.”
The actor is currently on a press tour for his new movie X-Men: Days of Future Past, and the film is set to release in China and in the US on May 23rd. The film has every celebrity you could possibly think of starring in it, showing that the 7th movie in the X-Men series remains strong as ever.
We hope that Hugh continues to have positive outcomes with his bout with skin cancer and continues to set a great pro-sunscreen example for the sun-lovers of the world.
