Do you believe in fate? Arizona resident, Carol Marshall sure does.
What she found in her backyard is surprising –a little girl’s letter to God attached to a deflated balloon. She was inspired by it and knew she had to find a way to help.
The letter was from a girl named Sophia. In the letter, Sophia says, “Dear God, I am thankful to you because you have given me life. I ask you to help our family – because we are going through tough times.”
Marshall says she wants to reach out to the young girl and her family any way she can, “Automatically [I] thought it would be great to do something nice for this young girl and her family… To me it goes a bit deeper with showing her that people actually work through God and are going to help Him for her.”
Marshall hopes that by spreading her story, someone can find Sophia and help answer her prayers.
