20th Century Fox has released official dates and synopses of three of their upcoming films which include 2 new X-Men movies and Deadpool 2.

First movie to be released is entitled New Mutants. This movie is inspired by the first X-Men spin-off series and will be co-written and directed by Josh Boone. The movie will be based off a new set of mutants as they go through their time at Xavier’s school for Gifted Youngsters. The movie will try to keep the tone of what we know and love about the original X-Men movies. The film is expected to start filming this month in locations such as Montreal and Boston. We look forward to seeing New Mutants when it opens April 13, 2018.

Next movie to make the arrival will be the long awaited Deadpool 2. This sequel to the 2016 R-Rated film will have Ryan Renyold’s reprise his role as Wade Wilson. With supporting cast members expected to return the film, the cast will receive a new director, David Leitch. It has been told that the sequel will be bringing in some new characters for Wade to have fun with. New comer Zazie Beetze will play a character name Domino, a mutant with a gift of good luck. Josh Brolin will be playing Cable, a traveling mutant soldier who gets stuck playing the frontman in Deadpool’s games. Get ready for the movie as it will be released in theaters June 1, 2018.

The last film that was released was entitled X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The movie is said to be an adaptation of “The Phoenix Saga,” the greatest story ever told in X-Men history. The movie will bring back Sophie Turner, Tye Sherdian and Alexandra Shipp as Jean Grey, Cyclops and Storm. Other members of the X-men Prequels are still up for determination as their contracts expired right after filming  X-Men: Apocalypse. Filming is starting this month in Montreal, with a tentative release date of November 2, 2018.

Only time will tell about these three movies but we here at PopWrapped can’t wait! Which one are you looking most forward too? Tweet us @PopWrapped and let us know.
