After Yahoo! revived the series Community for it’s streaming site Yahoo! Screen, it may be looking to save another series, Enlisted. The FOX freshman series was cancelled earlier in May, with ratings slightly under the average scripted series ratings, but according to E! Online, Yahoo! and 20th Century Fox TV are undergoing negotiations for a potential second season.
Enlisted garnered a dedicated following of fans, who were devastated by the cancellation which urged them to push for a pick-up after they renewed NBC’s Community for a sixth and final season (however they always say 6 seasons and a movie!)
Kevin Biegel, the creator of Enlisted, took to twitter to share his adoration of the fans writing, “The fact anythings even being talked about is because of you amazing, amazing fans. So cross fingers. Mine crossed so hard they may break.”
This goes to show how much a fan-base impact can make anything happen!
