Having afternoon tea with the Doctor? Sounds like the stuff of dreams!
For one lucky fan and a friend, this dream could be about to come true! In a bid to raise money for autism charities The National Autistic Society and Ambitious About Autism, Doctor Who actor Matt Smith is offering the chance to have tea with him at the Ritz Hotel in London.
The auction will be held at 8 PM on July 1st, but bidding on the experience has already opened on sellebrity.org.uk. In the online auction, aptly titled Time Jump to the Ritz, fans can bid until 11:10 AM on the day. Final bids can then be telephoned in during the evening’s auction.
At the time of writing, bidding stood at £1320.00. Time to dig deep!
