Just go ahead and add Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser to the list of celebrities who have secretly gotten married. The two Mad Men stars secretly tied the knot in Ojai California sometime in June her rep revealed to Us Weekly magazine. The Gilmore Girls alum got engaged to Vincent who also works with her on Mad Men back in March 2013.
A source close to the two described the ceremony to Us Weekly, “It was a small and intimate family affair. They wanted something relaxed and beautiful. Ojai was the perfect place. His family flew out from the East Coast.”
This is the first marriage for both the bride and the groom, and Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner had nothing but complements about the couple in an interview with Vulture in April, “Honestly, they’re a really good match. They’re both very down to earth, with a sense of responsibility and strong family ties. And they’ve been acting since before they can remember, which makes for a very special personality.”
Congratulations to the newleyweds! Here’s to wishing you a lifetime of happiness. Can we just go ahead and place bets on who is going to secretly get married next? It seems like the new craze!
