Who would have thought that Mad Men and the legendary Michael Jackson “Thriller” video have something in common?
Trust us, this seems random but it has a point—the infamous brothel on Mad Men has a closer connection to the iconic music video than you might think. In fact, they are right next door to each other!
It turns out that both houses are located on the historic street in Los Angeles named Carroll Avenue.
That just happens to be where Don Draper’s childhood home (a Pennsylvania brothel) in the show’s universe is actually located at. The real estate database Zillow states that the six-bedroom, 126-year-old building is worth just under $600,000—not bad for a historic home with a little bit of a reputation! But what’s really interesting is that right next door is located the infamous house from MJ’s Thriller video!
