Has your mom ever said to you, “Well if you were kidnapped, you’d probably annoy the kidnappers so much they would let you go!” Little did we know how true that story could be!
Willie Myrick was taken from right outside his house while playing with his Chihuahua. He was abducted by a man and thrown into his van; the unknown captor reportedly drove around town with the 9 year old boy for about 3 hours. If only the man knew that he had picked on the wrong kid!
Willie spent all 3 hours in that van repeatedly singing the Gospel song ‘Every Praise’. The singing had some sort of effect on the captor because he decided to release the boy. Willie said that he was singing so much, the man kept cursing and telling him to shut up, all until he released the boy.
“He opened the door and threw me out. He told me not to tell anyone.” Said Willie
The man has not been found but police have released a sketch of the man and is said to be driving a grey Honda Civic, a $10 000 reward will be given for any information leading to his arrest.
