Attention all Gleeks and apparently Katycats!
TVLine has dropped a fun little spoiler that will make both fandoms pretty happy. According to Michael Ausiello, the hit dramedy is adding another of Katy Perry’s hits to its repertoire.
Following the footsteps of “Last Friday Night”, “Firework”, “I Kissed a Girl”, and the now classic “Teenage Dream”, which launched Darren Criss’ tenure on the show, the cast is said to be ready to “Roar” as a cover in an upcoming episode.
At this time, there are no details as who will be singing the song or where it will fit plot-line wise. If Glee‘s history of covering Perry’s songs is any indication of what is to be expected, fans can safely bet that the cast will have a good time belting this anthem out.
