Just when we thought television couldn’t get any quirkier, Zooey Deschanel is about to extend her pixie grasp of television even further, and this time in animated form!
Deschanel, best known for playing Jess on FOX’s hit New Girl is set to executive produce a half-hour animated sitcom for FOX entitled Queen of Everything, and it has been described as “a workplace comedy set in a modern fairytale world. It centers on an evil queen who comes into power and realizes that running a Queendom isn’t easy when you have no people skills and everyone hates you. With the help of her staff, she’ll try to change her ways.”
No news yet as to when the series will premiere, but hopefully it is very soon, because half an hour a week of Zooey’s quirkiness just isn’t enough.
