A slew of impressive upcoming software weren’t the only things that Sony unveiled at its recent E3 showing.

No, they also unveiled two new pieces of hardware: one, the PS4 Glacier White edition, and the other, the PlayStation TV.

The former of the two products is the easiest to explain, as it pretty much is exactly what it says on the tin. Soon, PlayStation fans around the world will be able to play their favorite PS4 games on a crystal white system. It may just be an aesthetic change, but it’s certainly pleasing to the eye. No complaints here!

As per the PlayStation TV, that’s a little more complicated. Think Kindle Fire TV, but with added depth. For just $99, owners of this microscopic device will be able to stream their PS4 games to any TV within a certain proximity of the origin system. On top of that, it can also stream PS Vita games to a TV screen, as well as stream all of the neat apps a typical streaming device would, such as Netflix and Hulu.

No release info has been given for either of the two consoles yet, but it’s more than enough to drum up hype in certain gamers with the fact that they’ll be existing in the west in little to no time now.

What’s better?

Those of you who purchase the Glacier White PS4 will be nabbing yourself a copy of Destiny for free alongside a free 30-day PlayStation Plus subscription. Those of you who grab a North American PS TV could also get themselves a DualShock 3 controller, memory card, and a copy of The Lego Movie Video Game for only $40 more once it hits U.S. shores.
